It was a pleasure to undertake a wonderful Fellowship with JKS , and Ian trail and John Stillwell in 1996. JKS was his usual charming and charismatic self, great to watch both clinically and in the Operating Theatre. Certainly, watching him operating, undertaking a Revision Elbow Replacement so beautifully was to see a master at work. The Monday ward rounds and then Research discussions were illuminating, educational and humbling. A great surgeon and teacher. He will be sorely missed. My condolences and best wishes to Gail and his family.
